I know, I know, I know...
This review is hella late.
But since I promised it on Instagram, I still oughta get it out to the folks that wanted to know what I thought about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.
I attended the film premiere some time ago, and I was so pumped! Not that I follow the GOTG comic books very closely, but I did enjoy the first installment of the Marvel Franchise film. And after seeing all the staggered trailers throughout 2016, the anticipation was coming to a head.

So, first off, I saw it in 3D, which I love and it was AMAZE-BALLZ!!!
The cinematography alone was awe inspiring. Glowing vibrancy & attention grabbing. I literally felt my eyes ogling and scanning the screen from left to right, top to bottom, so that I wouldn't miss any of the beautiful effects.

I absolutely fell in love with Ego's planet/body. LOL.
And the none stop laughs almost sent me in to histerics! They were just one after the other. Which made me a little upset at myself at the same time, because I couldn't hear the followup jokes over my laughter (i'm a loud laugher; it's my cross to bear.)

And Groot stole every scene he was in! With his limited vocabulary, nothing was lost in translation. I would be perfectly fine if Groot, Rocket & Yondu got a mini-film right before the opening of the upcoming Infinity War movie. Kinda like the Pixar mini's before the Disney movies.

PS... The cool guy in the middle of everything is Adam Warlock. He's important. Trust.
And with all of that laughter, fighting & action... The main thing I got out of GOTG Vol.2 was FAMILY.
Family doesn't always have to be the people you were born from or grew up with. Sometimes it's the people we collect as we journey through this thing called life.
Also, if you were wondering or didn't know about the differences in the Marvel Comic Universe and the Marvel Studio Universe of characters from GOTG Vol.2, here's a gallery on them.
So, I really hope you've had a chance to run out and see this amazing film. I personally learned a lot about the Guardians of the Galaxy, and look forward to learning more on my own.
Here's a video of all the trailers, to get your juices going if you haven't ventured out yet. Hopefully, this will get your butts in the theaters to see it before it goes to DVD. Which I also cant wait for.
